How to Care for Your Brushes

Wash brushes immediately after use. Water-soluble paints should be cleaned with warm water and soap. Oil-based or solvent-based paints should be removed using turpentine or a similar paint cleaner. Allow brushes to dry flat.

Dried paint can be removed by soaking the brushes in soapy water or turpentine.
