Drawing Pencil Hardness Affects Your Choice

The hardness or softness of a drawing pencil affects the drawing result. A soft drawing pencil (marked B) produces a dark and smooth line, while a hard drawing pencil (marked H) creates a lighter and sharper line. The higher the number in front of the marking, the softer or harder the drawing pencil is. Our selection includes drawing pencils in seven different hardness grades.
