Gesso is intended for priming stones before painting. Priming the stones helps the paint adhere better and makes the colors appear brighter.
How to prime stones before painting?
- Wash the stones thoroughly and allow them to dry.
- Apply an even layer of gesso on the stones.
- Let the gesso dry completely (approx. 24 hours) before painting the stones.
- Water-based. Clean tools with water.
